Yep, it’s Dragons on my mind, and how.
1. Galbatorix will die, of course. (Duh.)
Whether Eragon kills him in open combat, i.e Galby v/s Eragon & Saphira, or if E&S manage to break his power (appeal to their good hearts?:) )over the hearts of the other dragons and they combine to annihilate him or Shruikan eats his Rider up. Revenge! Blood and Gore galore. Yum.
2. Arya, Nasuada or Roran will be the next rider. Arya being the one would be a bit of a let down, (but most likely), I think. She has enough powers as it is. Nasuada would cause a lot of the pieces to fall into place. She becomes a Rider, Murtaugh cannot bear to kill her, and Luurve causes his true name to change. Brotherly hugs all round, and E need not worry about keeping his promise to Orik to kill the murderer of King Hrothgar. After all, M’s become a different man now. Roran – All the riders seem to be related. So..Shrug. Sounds weak to me. Plus could Roran be able to watch as Katrina ages? He’s more likely to become King of Alagaesia.
3. Roran’s and Katrina’s son, born on the last day of the war – the first baby to be born among the Varden in free Alagaesia( though for this to happen this baby would have to have an unnaturally long gestation period ) – becomes the first of the new generation of Riders, learning from whoever’s still left in Alagaesia. This is post war, though, and most likely will be in the epilogue, if there is one.
4. The two women E & S bless in Brisingr will have something important to do or someone to kill or someone’s life to save. Katrina’s?
5. Nar Garzhvog will die. Why? Just a hunch. 
6. Rock of Kuthian. Hmph. Everyone’s heard of it, but no one knows just where and what it is. Something to do with the Forsworn’s dragons? E&S offer them redemption? I’m thinking along the lines of how Aragorn goes to the Valley of the Dead and calls them forth to battle on his behalf, and then sets them free. If Paolini does this with Eragon, the parallels will absolutely overwhelm the series.
7. The name of the 4th book will be the name of the new dragon.
8. Elva. Free at last, but at what cost? If Galbatorix can manage to get her on his side – after all, she is now directed only by her conscience. That would be an interesting mid book twist. Of course, she returns to the Varden in the end, and helps bring the Empire down.
9. Eragon leaves with Saphira and Arya and the other Elves for the Inheritance Cycle’s equivalent of the LOTR’s Grey Havens/West.
10. Jormundur dies. Orik lives.The 2 elf children die. Murtaugh.. to die or live?
11. The Name that the Razac say Galbatorix has almost found is the True name of the ancient language.
12. Eragon’s true name will have something to do with Wyrda! or/and Brisingr.
Lots of things I want to see more of in the 4th book -
: Angela. My favorite character. Death by mad rabbit, LOL. Who is she? Oromis says he met someone like her long ago, and she says she studied with Tenga. Just how old is she? Her reading the bones for Selena is probably what made her leave when she was pregnant with Eragon. So who is the blind beggar whose fortune she read?
: Galbatorix. So far all we have heard from and about him is via someone else. I hope we get to see in his head.
: The rest of the Dragons. Do they all have a sense of humour and are they as articulate as Saphira?
: Will Roran ever get that stone to rise?
: Solembum and Maud. Irreverent thought : Are werecats what you get when a werewolf bites a cat?

also, think a hidden and so far undiscovered dragon egg will be found
i think angela is an ex-dragon rider because they did say that half the riders were women. and she also had the knuckle bones of a dragon how is that even possible

i think eragon will speak his name and open the vault of souls, which will release dragon spirits/good spirits which will turn him into a shade. after gallbatorix is defeated they will leave him.
Now that IS an interesting theory! Hope that happens.
I’m starting to like the idea of Nasuada being the next rider too as the author says it would solve some complex issues. At the same time I had always pictured Arya as being the next dragon rider, it just seemed so inevitable. Eragon’s supposed to leave algaesia forever, and love someone of royal blood forever, so they have to stick together, and I couldn’t see all of the elves leaving, but I definitely could see the two dragon riders flying off to a place where there’s a shitload of dragons still hiding.
Finally, I had also thought that Orik would make a great dragon-rider, although he’s king now which has kinda messed things up a bit, kings and dragon riders don’t go well, but integration between the dwarves and dragons, finally becoming riders seem to be a compelling issue. If not the dwarves… maybe an urgal will pick an egg up
Eragon won’t be a shade. Remember what Oromis said in brisingr? Shade + rider = abomination. Eragon pretty much took that advice to heart, and spirits can’t possess you if they aren’t summoned.

I think that Nasuada will become the next rider – Paolini said in an interview that there were BIG changes for her in the next book. Then her and Eragon will fall in luuuuurve and Saphira will be with Greeni, they will leave Alagaeisia when Galby is dead and live Happily Ever After. THE END.
Honestly, i hope Arya becomes a dragon rider, but i can’t help the sense that some new character might be instead. As for the green dragon, who’s to say that it’s the one that Galby kept? Its possible that people managed to keep an egg hidden, i mean, they kept O&G hidden! Eragon is going to have to leave Alagaesia forever so he probably has to end up sacraficing himself in the end to bring ultimate peace.
I think galbatorix will learn the true name of the ancient language, which forces for Eragon to fight him in the end without the use of it.

I mean look at the facts, she’s old, but dosn’t seem like it,it would make sence if you think about it, and also, Angelena is C. Paloni’s sister, so wouldn’t it make sence for her to be a dragon rider? anyone else picking up what I’m laying down?

First of all, her name is ANGELA, not ANGELENA. Second, being old is a reason she shouldn’t be the new rider. Plus, and I think an dragan mentioned it, Angela is probably an ex-rider whose dragon was killed. She does have th knucklebones of a dragon. And I know that she has things people just don’t have, but I really do think that its possible for her to have already been a Rider. That would explain her seeming agelessness.

everyone just assumed it was his True name but what about just Eragon as in the First Dragon rider? and inside would be more Eldunari and one of them being the First Eragon’s Dragons.
If Angela was an old rider who’s dragon was killed, I doubt she would have taken the time to cut the knuckle bones off of her dragon’s skeleton and then proceeded to toss them around in front of random strangers, all while not even looking remotely sad while doing so. Then again Angela is crazy, so….
roran wont be king because he promised katrina a farm in carvahall. also he wont learn magic bcause he is meant to symbolyz the strength of non magic people. saphira may be killed forcing eragon to leave alagasia in search of other dragons. the vault of souls is a secret storage of eldurni. its possibly located in vroengard or deep in the beor mountains. the new book will be called inheritance. and finally the new egg will hatch for nasuada or arya.
i just had a thought. what if the next egg doesnt hatch.

Here’s what I think (please excuse any spelling mistakes)…
1. The reason for the name “Cycle”: Galbatorix will de defeated—we’ve known that since day one. Eragon will discover and change Murtagh and Thorn’s true names, hance releasing them from Galbatorix’s control allowing them to aid in his ultimate demise. Unfortunately, the rider-dragon duo will be killed in the process leaving Eragon as the only Rider for a short while. This is where “Cycle” comes into play: the first Eragon was the first Rider and now our own beloved Eragon will be the first of a new generation of Riders, until the last egg hatches and the new Rider is introduced.
2. The new Rider: I really think—and hope—the new Rider isn’t anyone we know, that is to say, I hope s/he is a totally new character, coming into play some time after Galbatorix’s fall. I would really hate to see Roran or Arya become the Rider, that just seems to cliché and predictable…
3.Shruikan: He’s going to help defeat Galbatorix and turn out not to be evil at all. Correct me if I’m wrong, but multiple times in multiple books, it’s been hinted at that Shruikan isn’t evil like his “Rider”. He was left out of the Banishing of the Names because he was forced to do what he did, he didn’t choose like the Forsworn’s Dragons. So either Shruikan will have the power to resist Galbatorix on his own, or he’ll have to be released by Eragon and Saphira via true name change. Oh, and P.S….he’ll die
4. Islanzadí will be killed in war: maybe some all-out assault on the Empire…maybe a fate similar to Théoden’s…
5. Brom’s confirmed appearance: I believe that Brom—and potentially his sword Undbitr—could make an appearance in spirit form. Eragon is supposed to learn more about spirits and also find this Vault of Souls, so I believe it is here that Brom’s soul/spirit will make an appearance…maybe with some help or advice…?
6. Future of the Urgals: the Urgals will continue to play a large and important role in the Varden’s war on the Empire. In the end, I believe they will be dignified, no longer feared or hunted like beasts and given land and equality in the “new order” of Alagaësia.
7. Future of the Dragons: Saphira is the only female Dragon left, so she plays an obvious role in her race’s future. As I stated before I believe that Shruikan and Thorn will die in the battle with Galbatorix, so that leaves but one option: Saphira + Green Dragon = future race of Dragons! Yay.
8. The name the Ra’zac spoke of: The one Galbatorix has almost discovered. This is either his own—allowing him to know his own fate etc.—or Eragon’s—also allowing him to know Eragon’s fate etc. But, there could be a development: Oromis(?) stated that knowing one’s true name can be a big burden, so maybe by learning his own true name/fate etc., Galbatorix could be taken off guard or something, allowing an opening in his defenses…
As cool as it sounds for him to discover the Ancient Language’s true name, I really can’t see that happening or what he could really do by knowing that…but who knows? Paolini never ceases to amaze me, so maybe he’ll pull something epic out of the hat.
*I think Aria is the next rider because when Eragon first met her he mentions her green eyes and when she rescues him she is wearing a green dress and through the whole series the are being made equals.

21 eragon gets broms memmories from saphiras (broms dragon) eldunari
22 eldunari use combined theyre dragon magic and bring back brom
23 broms tomb is the rock of and near it is the gate of souls
24 the rock of kulnar is in the hardack desert (sorry if it’s misspelled I don’t hamwmmuuwuuuwwpve the book in front of me)

After reading all the books (except the last one) and all the stuff people have been saying: ‘Arya will….’ or ‘Nasuada will’ blah blah blah. It’s so obvious that if everyone is thinking these things, then they may have figured out Christopher Paolini, and for that to happen, well let’s just say that a writer does not want to make him/herself so predictable that no one wants to read them anymore. It stands to reason that Christopher had all these forums opened (obviously not this one) so that he could read fan’s comments and mould his story accordingly, so that it is not so obvious to people. As for the next dragon rider, that in itself is easy, you just have not been thinking of a person who has been in all the books yet. Everyone you all have talked about is really obvious, or so inconspicuous-no one has thought of really. (Sigh) Paolini, what are you playing at…..?

1 arya is definetly the rider. why? saphira=blue eragon’s magic=blue. thorn=red murtagh’s magic=red (spear that kills hrothgar) greeni=green arya’s magic =green. no brainer

4 rock of kuthian: eragon speaks his true name or that of the ancient language to open a room full of eldunari (souls)

read inheritance. and in a word – what a colossal disappointment. the book rings with echoes of LOTR and even Harry Potter. Such a waste of a good idea. anyway, at least with regard to the predictions I can say – ha. told ya so.
